Simplicity

I have always liked how something so simple can turn out to be something so pretty. Lots of times on tables you see centerpieces filled with flowers. Don't get me wrong, those look amazing for any occasion, but I also think just one or a few flowers in a vase can give off a completely different look and still look great!

Enjoy these pictures I found and I hope you're inspired to try something new next time you have a table to decorate!

This next vase is so neating looking!

Shelves

I wish I could put shelves up on my walls at school. It would make my room look so much more organized than it is now.

Just for the fun of it, I looked for some pictures of cool/interesting/fun shelves on Google, because really, that's where I look for everything. Hope you like some of these or get inspired to put up shelves of your own!

This next picture must be my inner nerd screaming "HARRY POTTER!!"

When I have my own house one day, you will see these....

Have you seen any cool shelves or od you have any of your own?

Halloween Decorations!

I'm getting really excited that Halloween is right around the corner, because then it's Thanksgiving, and then it will be Christmas!! :)

I found some cool Halloween Decorating ideas from the Martha Stewart website, so I hope you like them!

These first two pictures are of how you can make fake spiderwebs around your house...

This first one was done by setting hot glue pads (or newspaper, something like that) around what you want to spiderweb-ify. (Yes, I'm a complete genius when it comes to making up words!) Using a hot glue gun, squeeze out about a dime size drop of glue on the newspaper. Then, dip the tip of the hot glue gun into the glue. When you lift the glue gun out of the drop of glue, it will start making a "trail" of the dried glue, that you can just wrap around whatever you're working on!

This second example of fake spiderwebs is much easier. You can use old or cheap white pantyhose, make cuts in them, and then stretch them out to get the effect that you are looking for.

These plates and this cup were made my taking a plate/cup of another color and cutting the edges with decorative scissors. Then, you can hot glue the decorative plate on top of the regular plate, and slide a regular cup into the decorative one!

The final two pictures show how you can use pumpkins as flower vases or baskets. They're pretty cool, and I would've never thought to use pumpkins like this before!
